New York Fashion Week Wrap-up: Top Trends for Fall 2014

While New York Fashion Week is over, the top trends for Fall 2014 are still buzzing. Although many fabulous styles graced the runways, three trends certainly left an impression. 

Furs

So many models were rocking fur at this year's NYFW. Keep an eye out for over-the-top furs; from classic dark furs, to graphic patterns, to colorful blends, this is one trend that you won't want to miss out on.

Sportswear

The influence of sportswear was another undeniable trend, with designers showing off their cool yet casual pieces. Incorporated into many designers' takes on sportswear are bold pops of color, boxy cuts, and exciting details that breathe life into the traditional look.

Designers like Alexander Wang and Rebecca Taylor nailed Sportswear-inspired fashion this year.

Plaid

Plaid pattern is more popular than ever, and who can complain! A lot of designers embraced this plaid-fever, creating exquisitely unique and fun pieces that have us anxiously waiting for Fall to arrive.

TRENDING: THE DROP WAIST

The dropped waist has made a comeback ladies, and you'll be seeing even more of it this spring and summer in bold colors and summery prints.  We are definitely ready to embrace this girly trend intermixed with the boxy and structured silhouettes that are still big right now.
